Shoowop Shoowop

We're going back to the 50's for prom night next week! Yes, it's my birthday and I was able to convince my wife to let me throw this party. In return for her permission I had to purchase a full Hawaiian vacation for the two of us for her birthday, but I think it'll be worth it. It's not for another couple of month, so in the meantime we're going to defuse the stress by planning our fabulous 50's prom night. My wife suggested that I make it a zombie prom night, but I thought that might be over the top.

So far we've bought streamers and balloons for decorations and these funny old fifties cook books to make a buffet out of (authentic!). It's funny - there's not one recipe in there that doesn't feature cream cheese and maraschino cherries as the main ingredient! I may have to do some substitution once I get around to cooking the meal. Cream cheese isn't really my thing (not to mention those bright red cherries). Right now I'm into doing a person search on other people who's birthday have been 50's prom themed. You'd be amazed how much you can find through the Internet. Right now everything's on fire with search news on yahoo and google so it's hard to cut through the tape and find what you're looking for but hey - I'm a pro. Can't wait to get this party started!

New Month

Last time I was here, I wrote about how my wife was mad about the fact that I spent a lot of time online running a person search. Well, unfortunately, she's still going on about it. I don't get it. She should know this about me already - it's a people search life for me! Oh well, the good news is that she loved her glasses. I spent a lot of time shopping around and checking out styles and I did good. I can't post a picture but they're red cat eye glasses with small rhinestones on the wings. Very 50's, very cool. We are way into the 50's in our house. After I read this rant to the sixties (which I totally agree with), I thought about throwing a 50's prom night in our house for my wife's birthday. She nixed it, of course, because she wanted to take a beach vacation, but my birthday is coming up and that's what I want to do for it. Time to do some planning!

Online All Day

It's been an interesting month. So much has happened since I started taking advice on my love life from people on the Internet. I'd always hoped I would find someone who could help me put my life in order and thanks to this livejournal I've found tons of them! I have to say, my wife isn't totally happy about my spending so much time on the Internet, working on a people search and ignoring her. I don't think I'm ignoring her at all! I'll just tell her that I've been shopping online for nice things to buy her.

It's not a lie, I have been shopping online for my wife. Her birthday is coming up and I think I'd like to buy her some new glasses. She looks great in glasses, but not the ones she has now. She needs more chic ones, I think. I've been looking around for a good deal and found this website about stylish frames online. It's been a huge help! Check it out if you want.

Romance is Tough

So my romantic breakthrough from last time may have gotten me into hot water. Now, my wife is expecting the same treatment every SINGLE DAY of the week. What the heck?! I can't keep this up, and she knows it. But she's still expecting it, and when I don't deliver, she gets mad and goes and stays with her sister. It's not serious or anything, but it gets annoying when I have to cook my own dinner cause my wife has left. Maybe I should take a cooking class or something (that way I can cook gourmet meals without breaking the bank for her!). So, search people genius, do you have any more advice for me on my love life? Maybe you should just stick to finding people instead of sticking your nose into my love life. Go read about real Bollywood movie titles instead. Ahhh...this is too much. I have to learn how to relieve stress.

Whew

Thanks to the anonymous tipster who told me that maybe I should plan something a little different for my Valentine's. (Who knew the find person crowd was so romantic?) I took her out for a nice Italian dinner (candles on the table and everything) and then a play showing at a theater downtown. She even said during our date, "Thank God, I was afraid you'd take me to a monster truck rally." Yikes! So thank you, thank you, mysterious find a person reader out there. For your kindness, this is the best find people site around. Oh, and my wife randomly came across this and thought I should post about Weight-loss Nutraceuticals.

Best Valentine's Ever

So I've got the best Valentine's Day planned out ever. No, seriously. My wife is going to throw a fit when she hears about it. First, I'm going to take her to a hot dog stand for dinner. Then we're going to go to a monster truck rally! Then, I've rented Saving Private Ryan for afterwards. It's my favorite movie ever. I can't believe she's never seen it. Anyway, I probably won't have much time to people search before then, but I'll definitely be back to search people very soon, I promise. Valentine's Day is just one of those bumps along the way, and in that spirit rant farm - to the humps and bumps.

Coming Home Again

It's eery how quickly things have returned to normal after the wedding. Back to work, back to the same ol' commute, the same ol' Thursday night TV. For a while, everything seemed more exciting: even beer tasted better. And don't get me wrong--I'm still very much in love. But my life hasn't changed as dramatically as I thought it would. Wow, it's hard to write about this without coming across bitter, which isn't what I mean at all! What I mean is that it really is dawning on me how much work a lifelong commitment will be. I only had an inkling before, but now that I'm all in, the reality is sinking in. It's scary, but love is powerful and it keeps my head above water. Anyway, to keep things from getting mundane in your life, one way to do that is to explore people search engines! You already know how much I love to search people, and I've found a new one that's totally worth checking out: bebo.

People searches and hand cramps

So I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I don't like U2. Further, these days I can't decide whether I like Coldplay either. The reason for this is that when I'm listening to them I sometimes think they are the most amazing band ever... but then I get the nagging feeling that they are just the U2 of our generation. This bums me out people. I won't lie. Their music is just so epic sometimes. It makes me want to gag, or go on a long drive and be in love. I can't tell. Speaking of being in love... I love my wife, but if I knew this many thank you notes was involved in getting married, I seriously would have eloped. My hand is cramping even as I'm typing this update - an update you're going to love because I have awesome sites for you to visit this month. One is about people searches, this one is about how to find someone, and this one is about PeopleSearchDigest.com - Kango Travel Search". We're just used Kango to book a trip we're taking in April to Romania. I've heard it's beautiful, and most importantly - it's cheap!

Still Honeymooning

Yup, we're still in the honeymoon phase! I am taking advantage of every moment too! I think we're also both holding onto that feeling because our honeymoon was interrupted by the hurricane. I think wedding is just still on our brains because it's taking us forever to write our thank-yous and to return all the horrible gifts people bought us. Apparently people don't understand the concept of a registry. We didn't even get half the stuff we registered for. We a lot of creative friends and family who think that the good gifts are handmade. Yeah, about that....Anyways, the wife and I have been doing a lot of people searching because someone (cough, cough) lost the address list. Ok, it was me, but to be fair I've had a lot going on. I was recently promoted and the wedding. Too much. Anyways, we've had to find a lot of people's address to send them hand made thank you cards. A little creativity on our part. In doing so, I've found some pretty good sites that have helped me do this very quickly. Check these links out if you need to find people too.

Search for People ----god blog
People Finder Site
Find Anyone Now ----great articles on how to find anything, not just people. Check out this article on how to find unclaimed money.

Ok, I gotta go work on making the thank yous. The wife actually writes them. I have horrible penmanship. Until next time!

My Honeymoon Disaster

Hey everyone - great to be back in Sunny California. We just got back from our Honeymoon in Belize. Rained the whole time, hurricane warnings, what a mess. Just our luck hurricane Dean skirted by while we were there. I hope this isn't setting a precedent for our life together - turmoil that is. I guess it could have been worse! So in people search news this month, I only have one link for you, as I didn't have much computer time this month. But never the less it's a good one: Person Search has some interesting new ways to find people, give it view.

Finding adresses for my wedding invites

Hi guys, Robert back in the house! Just got married, boy am I glad that's over. Weddings are so stressful, I should know I've had a couple! But this ones for keeps (I've also said that a couple of times). As, I think I mentioned in a previous post I was in charge of the guest list - which entailed finding people, getting the wedding invitations sent and all the related sidework. I decided to background check the wedding list and find out more than I bargained for, lets just leave it at: my wife to be was less than thrilled with me. I also want to take moment to let you know about 2 more people search resources I have found, they have great suggestions for ways to find people and people search tips that I have tried out recently.
Find People
Find Anyone Now - Finding Romance This one is useful if you're thinking of finding someone to date/fall in love with. My wife and I met through an online dating service, so I found this interesting as it explains all the different online dating sites.

PeopleSearch, Finding Someone, and Preparing For Your Class Reunion

Hey everyone - just taking a much needed break from everything else going on in my life (notably wedding planning), and updating this blog with some great sites I've found recently, one is all about peoplesearch - which is really useful when you're trying to find addresses for your wedding invite list... or any other reason. The next is all about how to find someone - which is extremely useful in locating the love of your life (like in my case), or just a long lost college buddy. The last site I'm including because I'm coming up on my ten year high school reunion this fall, and I'm freaking out about it... a little. This site give you a handy, tongue-in-cheek, look at preparing for your reunion, as well as a bunch of other funny lists to read to calm you down. Click the links to go to the sites mentioned, and please let me know your thoughts! I was getting a lot of great input from you guys for a while there, but lately I haven't been receiving nearly as many letters. Perhaps I have helped you all as much as I can? Let me know! Thanks!

People Search Updates

Hey all, Sorry for the extended absence, but I have a great people search post to make up for it - some great people search and ways to find people recommendations that will hopefully make up for it. So let’s get right to it then. These are the people search sources I am using most of these days:
People Search Engines Blog is one of my favorite people search tools, especially when it comes to people search engine reviews
Address Lookup Blog always has great people search suggestions
Find People Blog is also one of my top people search tools

Lastly, I wanted to tell you all about my latest hobby. I am building my family tree and so have gotten into genealogy search. I use My Ancestry Online and find it really helpful.

Wouldn't It Be Nice If It Were October?

If it were October, I would be an awesome honeymoon in New Zealand right now. Alas... wedding plans are really heating up over here. I'm so glad we had so much time to plan otherwise I fear my darling Jac would have turned into a bride-zilla by now (Jac, if you're reading this I totally don't mean that... no REALLY. OKay... I mean it a little bit, but can you blame me?)

Anyway - what I'm here to tell you about are some cool sites I've stumbled upon in the last month that I thought might pertain to your needs, oh discerning reader! So without further adieu, here they are:

Number One - Find People Blog

Number Two - Public Records Now Blog

Number Three - People Search Blog

Number Four - People Lookup Site (NOTE: Not quite launched yet, but looks promising.

So there you go, folks. I'm back to picking out China patterns. As cliche as that sounds, it's a lot less torturous than you'd think. Of course, I keep trying to just get her to register for a PS3 instead. I'll win her over yet! Bye for now, guys (and gals).

Keep on people searching…

So back for another people search installment…
I have two new people search blogs to recommend and a great people search engine for you to check out:
Background Check Blog
Ways to Background Check
I found both these Background Check Blogs informative and helpful for both people searches and background checks. It's amazing how many different ways there are to find people!

Also check out my latest recommendation as far as people search engines go:
PrivateEye.com - Find People with People Search.
It was easy to navigate and consistently gave me updated records for the people searches I performed.

Hope this helps, check back next week for my next installment!

Address Find Found The Love Of My Life

Okay, so my soon-to-be wife is standing here and totally made me enter that sappy headline... but it is true. Trust me. I'm in as much shock as you are. My name is Robert, and I'm lucky enough to be marrying the TRUE love of my life this September thanks to this website, Public Records Now, as well as to my future-wife's super-initiative. Little did she know when she did a people search for me that I had been trying to find her for years. The problem is I just didn't know how to go about it. Luckily for both of us, she did though, and now we're (and by "we're" I mean "she") is planning our wedding. I'm just happy it all worked out - and that she had the address of the house I grew up in still (which she only had because I wrote it in our yearbook - ha ha). Yeah (so as you all know), she did this address find thing on the Public Records Now, and boom - the next thing I know my mom is calling me at 11pm to tell me that Jaclyn called, and she gave her my number. Little did I know it would go this far though. Anyway, anyone looking for a good people search, or looking to just find someone should check it out. This blog thing is pretty cool too. -Rob
